Managing Partner
Tony Gallo
Considered the “OG of Cannabis Security“, Tony has developed cannabis security strategies for businesses and has worked with over 800 clients in 37 U.S. states since 2013.
Tony has spoken at over 100 cannabis security conferences nationwide and is recognized by the Global Cannabis Times as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Cannabis.”
Tony has over 20 years of experience in the Security and Loss Prevention field across North America at companies such as Sapphire Risk, EZCorp, Sears, Federated Department Stores, and the auto parts industry.
Tony received his degree in Criminal Justice from New Jersey City University in Jersey City, NJ, and is an appraised author in the security industry.
Senior Asset Protection Consultant
Jeff Bartley
As the Senior Asset Protection Consultant, Jeff manages Sapphire Risk’s “Phase 3” projects, which include Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), security employee training, on-site comprehensive risk assessments, Culture of Honesty programs, and robbery awareness.
Jeff has experience in the Security/Asset Protection field for over 30 years in high-risk retail and logistics security across North America at companies such as EZCorp and Sapphire Risk. Jeff has helped train over 10,000 employees in safety and security throughout his career.
He has spoken at numerous events including NECANN Boston 2022, NECANN Chicago 2023, National Pawn Expo 2023, and the Dixie Pawn Convention 2023.
Senior Security Consultant
Haley Glover
As the Senior Security Consultant, Haley manages security build-outs and communicates with clients, vendors, architects, general contractors, and other on-site personnel in the cannabis, pawn, and jewelry industry.
Haley has collaborated and overseen the security build-outs of over 70 licensed cannabis businesses with multi-state operating brands such as Cookies, Calyx Peak, and Terrascend.
Haley was awarded “40 Under 40, Class of 2020” by Security Systems News and “40 Professionals Under Forty, Class of 2021” by Commercial Integrator.
She is currently working towards receiving her Physical Security Professional Certification with ASIS International.
Chief of Staff
Leo Falgout
As the Chief of Staff, Leo has led application efforts with a team of technical writers and security designers since 2017.
Under his direction, Sapphire Risk’s security plans score in the top 5% of evaluations. Leo also regularly consults security companies on compliance and regulatory matters and has also presented on behalf of Sapphire at dozens of city council meetings throughout the nation.
Leo studied Materials Science and Polymer Engineering at Georgia Tech and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Marketing Manager
Katharine Baxter
As the Marketing Manager and previous Lead Technical Writer, Katharine has led marketing and technical writing efforts for Sapphire Risk since 2019. Efforts include cannabis business application writing, SOPs, employee training development, digital and in-person marketing, SEO, and copywriting.
Katharine is a published author, moderated panels with some of the industry’s leading experts, and assisted clients in winning over 50+ cannabis business licenses, creating SOPs, and drafting training manuals.
Katharine studied political science and journalism (print/digital) at the University of North Texas.
Client Success Consultant
Chrissy Yoder
Chrissy Yoder is the Client Success Consultant for Sapphire Risk Advisory Group. Chrissy’s goals are to ensure that Sapphire clients are safe and happy and that all security needs are met, foster a positive customer relationship, and support brand loyalty.
Chrissy has over 10 years of experience in physical security with over 5 years as the Security Manager from companies such as EZCorp and Sapphire Risk.
Chrissy graduated from Texas State University with a Degree in Anthropology with a focus on Forensics and a minor in Criminal Justice.
